Weatherproof case design, infrared illuminated night vision and high resolution video are all included in Security Labs? SLC-154C color bullet camera. A 540 line high resolution Micron PitchTM imager is combined with non-reflective lens design and 24 high output IR LEDs to generate a crisp and clear image. IR LEDs and imager are optically isolated as each component is concentrically housed in its own compartment, holding IR reflection and halo effect to a minimum. Typical IR range produces facial recognition at 20 feet and general surveillance in excess of 40 feet. The cast aluminum swivel mount allows for precise viewing angle adjustment and houses the video power cable for additional security and cosmetic appeal. The stylish case design compresses more features than cameras twice its size. The included video/power cable uses locking BNC video connectors with gold plated pins that are found on all professional cameras, and reduce high frequency/resolution loss and video noise. Locating a power source near the camera is not necessary as all power and video connections are done at the location of the DVR or monitor being used. The case is weatherproof for use outdoors, however installation under an eave or soffit is recommended. The camera comes packaged with everything you need to install and operate, and toll-free, U.S. based technical assistance is included for the life of the product.
